The Gospel Mag was created with a simple purpose: to help people spend more time in Scripture and understand how God’s Word speaks into everyday life.

Our goal is simple: make God’s Word approachable, meaningful and practical.
Meet Pastor Buff McNickle
The Gospel Mag is led by Pastor Buff McNickle, a pastor and ministry leader who has spent more than three decades helping people encounter Jesus and put their faith into action.
Buff has served in full-time ministry since 1992, working with students, families, young adults, churches and communities across the country.
In 2013, he became a church planter in southern New Jersey, where his ministry focused heavily on taking the Gospel beyond the walls of the church. His work has included serving people experiencing homelessness, supporting those struggling with substance abuse, helping families and children in underserved communities and creating opportunities for Christians to serve their neighbors in practical ways.
Today, Buff serves as Director of Compassion Ministry & Partnership Development for the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey, where he helps churches build ministries that meet real needs in their communities while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
At the heart of Buff’s ministry is a simple belief:
Faith should be lived, not just talked about.
