Deuteronomy 30:2
And when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today.

You do not have to be fully healed to turn toward God. You do not need to have it all figured out before you obey. The invitation is simply to return with your whole heart, to bring everything you are, including what feels broken, and to follow Him again.

Obedience in this context is not about earning your way into God’s favor. It is about trusting Him enough to follow His instruction again. It is about believing that His commands are not punitive but protective, not restrictive but redemptive. When you obey with your whole heart, you are not performing for approval.
