Genesis 8:12
He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
Noah waited. Again. After everything he had already endured, after the flood and the months confined in the ark, he sent the dove out one more time. And this time, it did not come back.

You are growing roots that will hold you steady when the breakthrough finally comes. You are learning to recognize His voice in the stillness so that when He speaks, you will not miss it.
Noah could have opened the door of the ark on his own. He could have climbed out and tested the ground himself. But he did not. He waited for the sign God had already shown him would come. He trusted the process. And when the time was right, he knew.
Your obedience does not have to look impressive to be powerful. It does not have to feel significant in the moment to matter in the long run. Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is simply wait seven more days and then do the same thing you have already been doing. Again.
God is not asking you to force the door open. He is asking you to keep showing up. To keep trusting. To keep following the small, steady prompts He has already given you. And when the moment comes, when the dove does not return, when the ground is finally dry, you will know.
